Bridge Center ED-Based MOUD Initiation – Establishing a Standard of Care
In this 3-part, no-cost webinar series, Bridge Center staff will provide learners with a general overview and introduction to medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), treatment best practices including ED-based buprenorphine, the efficacy and safety MOUD, and the mechanisms for associated navigation and harm reduction activities.
- Session 1: Foundational Elements of ED-Based MOUD - May 13, 2025 at 2pm.
- Session 2: Facilitating an ED-Based Substance Use Disorder Continuum of Care - May 27, 2025 at 2pm.
- Session 3: Pearls and Perils to Growing the SUD Treatment Network: Lessons from North Carolina - June 10, 2025 at 2pm.
At the conclusion of this webinar series, learners will be able to:
- Synthesize the evidence supporting the efficacy and safety of buprenorphine as a medication for opioid use disorder
- Identify the critical elements of an ED-based MOUD program
- Summarize the importance of ED-based patient navigation services are critical to promoting ongoing recovery after ED-based MOUD initiation
