Patient falls are the number one hospital-acquired condition and are a significant challenge for hospitals and healthcare facilities. This webinar will discuss how to comply with the Joint Commission (TJC) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) hospital Conditions of Participation (Cops) standards on falls. One study showed falls cost the healthcare industry $5 billion in 2020. This webinar will cover medications that increase the fall rate and discuss the role of a pharmacist in the falls program. All hospitals should have a falls team whose members should receive current and up-to-date information about falls.
